HROTHGAR'S HALL
Whenever Beowulf and his warriors touch base in Denmark, they are made welcome by King Hrothgar. An incredible devour is given for the Geats in the corridor called Heorot. Steaming hog's head and eel pie are set before them, and Hrothgar and his Ruler give Beowulf a brilliant container to drink from as they express gratitude toward him for coming so valiantly to their guide. Be that as it may, now the shadows were assembling toward the edges of the lobby, and as the sunshine blurred, a shadow appeared to assemble on the hearts of all men there, a shadow that was very long well-known to the Danes. At that point Hrothgar ascended in his High Seat and called Beowulf to him once more.
"Before long it will be sunset," he stated, when the youthful Geat remained before him. "But again the season of fear comes upon Heorot. You are as yet decided upon this edgy wander?"
"I am not wont to change my motivation without cause," Beowulf stated, "and those with me are of a like personality, or they would not have brought dispatch with me from Geatland in any case."
"So. Keep watch, at that point. On the off chance that you win in the battle before you, you should have such reward from me as never yet saints had from a ruler. I appeal to the All-Father that when the light becomes again out of this evening's dim, you may stand here to assert it. Heorot is yours until morning." And he turned and exited through the postern entryway, a tall old man stooping under the weight of his own tallness, to his resting quarters, where the Queen had gone before him. All over the corridor men were disappearing of each other, lessening without end to their own dozing places for the night. The thralls set back the seats and stacked the trestle sheets against the peak dividers, and spread out straw-filled supports and warm wolfskin mats for the fifteen warriors. At that point they too were gone, and Heorot was left to the band of Geats and the repulsive thing whose shadow was at that point crawling toward them through the dull. "Bar the entryways," Beowulf stated, when the last strides of the last thrall had withered away, "bars won't keep him out, be that as it may, in any event they may give us some notice of his instituting." Furthermore, when two of them had done his offering, and the at times utilized bars were in their attachments, there was nothing increasingly that should be possible. For a bit, as the last fire sank lower, they remained about it, at times taking a gander at each other, at times into the shining coals, at times talking. Not one of them had much expectation that he would see the sunlight once more, yet none apologized of having taken after their pioneer upon the wander. One by one. the fourteen set down in their saddle, with their swords close to them. Be that as it may, Beowulf peeled off his fight sark and gave it with his sword and pig peaked head protector to Waegmund. his brother and the dearest to him of every one of his colleagues, for he realized that mortal weapons were of no use against the Troll-kind: such animals must be aced, on the off chance that they could be aced by any stretch of the imagination, by a man's stripped quality and the red bravery of his heart. At that point he excessively set down, as if to rest.
